The primary source for course registration, financial aid and student account information for all Marquette University students is Marquette Central. To access personal information online you will need your CheckMarq login and password. For assistance accessing information call (414) 288-4000 or send a question. When calling with a question, please have ready your MUID number and your Marquette Central Access Number (MCAN).

CheckMarq is your gateway to student information at Marquette University and gives you access to your personal academic information such as grades, registration, transcripts, academic forms and much more. Most importantly, CheckMarq is how you will register for classes each semester.

The Book Marq Bookstore is the place to buy or rent your textbooks as well as your collegiate apparel. Order your textbooks online from the bookstore. Have a question? Call the Book Marq store manager at (414) 288-7317 or by completing the contact form.

Online learners have access to all Raynor Memorial Libraries’ electronic resources such as databases, e-journals and e-books, by following the instruction for Off-Campus Access. If you have a question or need to assistance with research or citing the library offers a variety of ways to Ask a Librarian. Stay connected and use the resources available to you.

The heart of our work is one-on-one conversations with writers at any stage of the writing process. While we can help writers learn about grammar, style and syntax, we also help writers with invention, drafting and revising.

The Academic Calendar will provide important information regarding when your classes start and end as well as important deadlines such as registering for your next course and applying for graduation.

Be aware — to refer to the appropriate calendar for your programs and that beginning and end dates vary based upon the session the class is scheduled. In order to stay current with all due dates for individual courses, it is wise to consult the Schedule of Assignments located in the course content section of your online course.

Career Center provides a broad range of career-related services to all Marquette University undergraduate students, graduate students and alumni. Explore your career path and employment options, enhance your job search skills and interview techniques, create an eye-catching resume, review job postings, hone your networking strategy and more.

Begin your career exploration with Handshake, an interactive career platform, which gains you access to resources, job postings and online appointments with career professionals. Log in using your Marquette username and password, and get started by completing your profile.

We encourage all students and alumni to utilize the services and resources available to them through the Career Center. Career exploration appointments are offered via telephone for all online students. If you plan to be on campus, set an in-person appointment. Make an appointment by logging into Handshake, select Career Center along the top navigation, and choose appointments to schedule an appointment. If you have questions regarding Handshake or Career Center call (414) 288-7423 between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday–Friday, Central Time.

• Marquette Email – The official means of correspondence between you and the university. Login with your email address (not username) and password.
• CheckMarq — Access to course registration, tuition and financial aid information as well as ordering textbooks online. Login with username and password.
• Desire2Learn (D2L) – Your connection to online courses at Marquette. D2L is not available to new students until the first day of classes — unless your instructor chose to grant early access. Log in with username and password.
• Virtual Private Network (VPN) – Access to online resources restricted for campus use only. Login with username, password and Duo security mobile app.

• Office 365 Portal — Login with your email address and password for free installation of Microsoft Office 365 Pro Plus, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Students also receive 5,000 GB of free online storage.
