If an emergency arises while you are abroad, follow the Emergency Procedures for Marquette Faculty and Staff provided to you at orientation. The following resources are in place to assist you in managing any emergency situation.

International SOS - Travelers' Assistance

SOS is an assistance program offering services such as:
- Assistance with lost or stolen documents
- Worldwide medical referrals
- Coordination of emergency travel arrangements
- Emergency cash advances
Before your trip, log on to the International SOS website and type in the Marquette policy number provided to you during the pre-departure orientation. A wealth of resources from hospital addresses to cultural tips are provided on the website.

All students studying abroad with Marquette academic programs or traveling overseas in conjunction with Marquette academic course work are covered through a mandatory comprehensive insurance package.
