Valerie Everard-Gigot is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Marquette University College of Health Sciences Department of Medical Laboratory Science. Valerie is a two-time Marquette University graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science and a PhD in Molecular Biology. Valerie has 15 years of teaching experience in the departments of Medical Laboratory Science, Exercise Science and Biological Sciences, and clinical experience as a Medical Laboratory Scientist at St. Michael Hospital in Milwaukee. Valerie’s true passion is teaching where she has a strong commitment to helping students achieve their fullest potential. Her teaching philosophy is centered
around diverse methods to create a dynamic learning environment to produce creative thought, application and retention.
