History: The Diocese of Las Vegas was erected from territory in the Diocese of Reno-Las Vegas (now Diocese of Reno), 1995. In 1999, the Las Vegas Diocese reported fewer than 1,000 baptized Native American Catholics. Las Vegas has administered the following parishes and schools with Native American parishioners and students in Nevada:
