History: St. Anthony Church and School, Zuni, Zuni Reservation, New Mexico, has been a predominantly Native American (Zuni) parish in the Diocese of Gallup (Archives: Gallup, New Mexico).

1922-1985

Franciscans (St. John the Baptist Province) (Archives: Cincinnati, Ohio; archives bulk: St. Michaels, Arizona, and Tucson, Arizona) established and administered St. Anthony Church (Zuni)

Franciscans (Our Lady of Guadalupe Province) (Archives: St. Michaels, Arizona) established and have administered St. Anthony Church (Zuni)

Two donors provided the funding to establish St. Anthony School, one of whom was from a Mrs. Pudom (Osage); the Osage people then were accumulating wealth from oil leases on Oklahoma lands

Poor Sisters of St. Francis Seraph of the Perpetual Adoration (St. Joseph Province) (Archives: Colorado Springs, Colorado) established and staffed St. Anthony School

Dominican Sisters (unknown) staffed the school, in part
