History: St. Peter the Apostle Church, Park Rapids, Minnesota, and its mission, St. Mary’s, Two Inlets, have been two predominantly non-Native American parishes in the Diocese of Crookston (Archives: Crookston, Minnesota). Crookston diocesan priests at St. Mary’s had attended to St. Theodore Mission (Ojibwa), Ponsford, near the White Earth Reservation.
