History: St. Jude Thaddeus Parish, Essexville, Bay County, Michigan, has been a predominantly non-Native American parish in the Diocese of Saginaw (Archives: Saginaw, Michigan). St. Jude Thaddeaus was formed by clustering three nearby churches. The churches have been administered by Saginaw diocesan priests and the following two parishes have had some Native American parishioners.
