History: St. Thomas Aquinas Church and Student Center, Thibodaux, Lafourche Parish, Louisiana, has been a predominantly non-Native American parish with a few Native America parishioners (e.g. Chitamacha, Choctaw, Houma). Houma-Thibodaux diocesan priests founded and have administered the parish at Nicholls State University, 1968-present.
