History: Founded in Italy, 1782, the Redemptorists (a.k.a. Congregation of the Most Holy Redeemer) made their first U.S. foundation, 1832, and self-identify with the post-nominal initials, “C.Ss.R.” The Richmond Vice Province, founded 1942, has administered Immaculate Conception Church (Maya), Clinton, North Carolina, 2015-present.
