History: St. Kateri Tekakwitha Community, Beaumont, Riverside County, California, has been a predominantly non-Native American two-parish cluster in the Diocese of San Bernardino (Archives: San Bernardino, California) that was formed by the merger of Precious Blood Church, Banning, and San Gorgonio Church, Beaumont, 2006. Various priests at Precious Blood Church attended to the following Native American mission and school in Riverside County.

Society of the Precious Blood (Cincinnati Province) (Archives: Dayton, Ohio) established and administered St. Boniface School (Cahuilla, Serrano, Cupeño)

1890-1913

Rev. B. Florian Hahn, C.Pp.S. [Society of the Precious Blood] (1850-1916) served as superintendent of St. Boniface School

1890-1956

Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet (Los Angeles Province, Los Angeles, California) staffed St. Boniface School

1895-1924

Los Angeles diocesan priests attended to St. Mary Mission/ Morongo Reservation station (Cahuilla, Serrano)
