History: The Daughters of Charity of St. Vincent de Paul self-identify with the post-nominal initials, “D.C.” They established the Western Province, 1969, which has administered the following charities among the Navajo and Hopi Indians in the Diocese of Gallup (Archives: Gallup, New Mexico):
