History: Queen of Peace Church, Mesa, Arizona, has been a predominantly non-Native American parish, now in the Diocese of Phoenix (Archives: Phoenix, Arizona) (1969-), and previously in the Diocese of Tucson (Archives: Tucson, Arizona). It has been administered by diocesan priests from these dioceses who attended to a Native American (Pima) mission in Arizona.
