History: Madonna House (Archives: Combermere, Ontario) established La Casa de Nuestra Señora at the invitation of Bishop Bernard Espelage of the Gallup Diocese (Archives: Gallup, New Mexico), 1957. It provides evangelization and social welfare assistance to local Navajo and non-Native American clients.
