History: Founded in Italy, 1732, the Redemptorists (a.k.a. Congregation of the Most Holy Redeemer), made their first U.S. foundation, 1832, which became the Baltimore Province, 1850. Records of the Denver Province and the Baltimore Province are all held in the Philadelphia archives.
Redemptorists self-identify with the post-nominal initials, “C.Ss.R.” The Baltimore Province administered the following parishes among Native Americans:
