History: Founded in Ireland, 1775, the Sisters of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary self-identify with the post-nominal initials, "P.B.V.M." They established the following convents, which staffed Catholic schools serving Native Americans in South Dakota:

1800-1881	Presentation Convent, Aberdeen, South Dakota
1997-present	Mount Loretto Convent, Dubuque, Iowa
