Mr. Owen J. Sullivan
Owen J. Sullivan, Arts ’79, was elected to the Marquette University Board of Trustees in 2013, served as vice chair of the board from 2015 to 2017, and served as chair of the board from 2017 to 2020.
He was the president and chief operating officer of NCR Corp., which has over 40,000 employees across 180 countries and is headquartered in Atlanta.
Owen is a former president of Specialty Brands for ManpowerGroup. He is also a former CEO of Jefferson Wells, Right Management and Experis.
Before joining ManpowerGroup, Owen worked as a management consultant with several venture capital and private equity groups. Prior to that, he served as president of the Financial Services Group of Metavante Corp., as well as president of Metavante’s Enterprise Solutions Group. He began his career with IBM.
He is a native of Boston and has completed several advanced business management programs through the Harvard Business School and Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
He is a member of the Marquette University President’s Society.
