This week recognizes anti-transgender violence and supports our trans* and gender-diverse students. Students, staff, faculty, and alumni are welcome to participate in a number of our events.

Flags in Their Honor
Mon Nov 18 | 10 AM - 1PM | Commons Quad
Place a flag to honor trans lives at the Commons Quad (between Raynor Library and Lalumiere Hall) from 10 AM – 1 PM. Join us on Monday and Wednesday to show your support.
Gender-Affirming Clothing Donation Drive
Tues Nov 19 | 9 AM - 4 PM | AMU 140 (LGBTQ+ RC)
We’re collecting gender-affirming items and other clothing to support the trans* community. Most needed are new, never-worn socks and underwear, and gently used clothing size L and up. Donations should be free of holes and stains—no shoes, please. Drop items off all day in AMU 140.
Trans* Day of Remembrance Vigil
Wed Nov 20 | 5 PM - 6 PM | AMU 157
Join us for a solemn vigil honoring those lost to anti-trans violence. The vigil will take place in AMU 157 from 5 PM – 6 PM. All are welcome.
If you missed us on Monday, we will be out on on the Commons Quad (between Raynor Library and Lalumiere Hall) again to place a flag to honor trans lives from 10 AM – 1 PM.
Film Showing and Discussion
Thurs Nov 21 | 7 PM - 9 PM | Cudahy 001
Marquette Philosophy’s Social and Political Philosophy Through Film series presents *I Saw the TV Glow (2024)*. Join us for a discussion exploring queerness in cinema, framed by relevant philosophical ideas. Snacks will be provided. The event takes place in Cudahy 001 from 7 PM – 9 PM.
Found Family Lunch and Celebration
