Lord, bless my parents and watch over them. Keep
them healthy and safe from all harm, and give them the
strength to love and support one another.

They have given me so much. Unfortunately, I occasionally
forget their great love for me.

Sometimes I become frustrated because I think they
do not see the growth and maturity I have experienced.

But I know they love me, and I love them dearly.
Help me to show a mature love and respect
for them. Bless them especially for all the sacrifices they
make so that I can study and live at Marquette.

Help me to become the son or daughter of whom they can
be proud, even if it is not quite the vision they have for me.
