Get admitted directly to the College of Nursing and start building the foundation for your career from day one. You’ll get lots of hands-on experience here — in class, state-of-the-art simulation and skills labs, clinicals, research, volunteer activities and more.
You’ll learn to be a skilled nursing professional prepared to serve populations of all ages in a variety of health care settings. And because we study nursing through the lens of Jesuit values, you’ll understand how to care for the entire person — not just the head but also the heart, not just the body but also the soul. Ultimately, you’ll become a leader of care, able to think critically, make sound decisions and support the entire care team.
Straz Hall, College of Nursing
Our College of Nursing has one of the highest-ranked B.S.N programs in the country. And here, our students have a higher pass rate on the nursing certification examination (NCLEX) than the national average. As a graduate of the College of Nursing, you'll join an alumni force of over 8,500 Marquette nurses who offer expert care for the whole person, advocate for the vulnerable and lead courageous careers.
Most of our graduates become registered nurses. Here’s where some of our recent graduates practice.
