Academic space is defined as space in any building in which the dean of a college/school or an academic department chair is housed and any space used for academic classes/labs, regardless of location. Requests for these spaces are reserved by University departments online through the Office of the Registrar using 25Live.

Note: The Varsity Theater and Weasler Auditorium are shared locations between the Alumni Memorial Union and the Office of the Registrar and can only be reserved through the AMU Event Services Office.

Reservable Spaces

General Pool Classroom spaces are available for use by university departments and registered student organizations for non academic functions many of which are smart room capable.

A select number of restricted academic spaces are also available for campus use. Restricted spaces are Approved for use by the individual college/department housed in that building.

In some instances your event may require equipment and/or furnishings that are not included in the standard set up of a particular academic space. For delivery of tables & chairs or to have furnishings removed or relocated a Facilities Services Request should be submitted.
