Academic Space

General Pool Classroom spaces are available for use by university departments and registered student organizations for non academic functions many of which are smart room capable.

A select number of restricted academic spaces are also available for campus use. Restricted spaces are Approved for use by the individual college/department housed in that building.

Request Academic Space for Non Academic Functions

In some instances your event may require equipment and/or furnishings that are not included in the standard set up of a particular academic space. For delivery of tables & chairs or to have furnishings removed or relocated a Facilities Services Request should be submitted. 

The Alumni Memorial Union Event Services team is available to assist with all of your catering needs. Sodexo Dining Services is the preferred provider for catering at Marquette University. We invite you to visit the Catering site to view the MCity Catering Guide as well as all of their Guides designed to make your next catered event one of a kind.

Guest Speakers:  For events when you have an invited guest speaker participating, it is the responsibility of the event organizer to have the Guest Speaker Disclaimer read prior to the start of the event by a university representative.  Copies will be available at the Information Desk located on the 2nd floor of the AMU.
