Teaching Assistant Professor
English
I have taught extensively at the university level in the areas of creative and rhetorical writing, film studies, and digital storytelling. As a teacher and a writer, the stuff of novels, shorts, essays, poems, and films, as well as the narratives we tell about our experiences, challenges, and dreams – all of this means the world to me. I center my teaching on conveying the power of stories, as agents of truth, disruption, beauty, empathy, connection, and love. I am passionate about working with students as they strive to form their own stories and currate their singular voices, no matter the mode of writing.
