dataMarq Report Definition

This report provides an overview of spend and usage for energy at Marquette, broken down by campus building.  Users have the option to select between viewing graphs by charges, consumption, or greenhouse gas use.

This is the number assigned to an energy account by the provider.  For We Energies, these accounts take the form of a ten digit account and a five digit sub account number (0711361164-00070).  Accounts can also be group, so that multiple accounts are billed under a single umbrella account.

Due to the complexity of routing of distributed accounts, some internal meters are applied toward multiple buildings energy use totals.   And in some cases the meter amount needs to be removed from a building's usage amount (negative percent).  The meter cross walk on the Allocation report will show the percent of a meter that is charged to a specific building.

There are nine accounts on Marquette that are not directly linked to a building, but are distributed throughout the campus.  Bills that come in under these accounts are paid by the holding account and then reallocated to specific RCs based on the actual energy usage by buildings on campus. This usage is determined by Marquette owned meters that track the reallocation of these main distributions.  The breakdown of We Energy accounts, Marquette distribution groups and external meters is listed below.
