The basketball load dashboard provides a comprehensive view of the catapult load data.
The report includes multiple pages of data, broken down by different longitudinal views.
Load Overview
A single day and weekly view of load data for a selected season. The top half of the page is a single day view, with the bottom half of the page providing the weekly overview
Weekly Load by Type
Basketball loads are broken into the type of activity. Types include:
- Practice
- Shoot Around
- Extra Work
- Game Warm Up
- Game
- Conditioning
Season Load by Type
A season long view of load by types and percentages. The page includes a data slicer so specific time periods can be analyzed.
Intensity by Type
A breakdown of intensity levels by different types of activities. Intensity metrics include:
- Average Load
- Explosive Ratio
- High Player Load
- Violent Efforts
- Sprint Distance Ratio
- Sprint Distance per Minute
Individual and Team Load Projections
These are load projections based on historical load numbers of a given player and a given day. The projection formula is straightforward, and takes into account the day type relative to the last game and next game. Load for specific day types (1 day post game, 2 days pre game, more than 3 days pre or post, etc.) are average and used as the projected number. These averages are then used for the group of athletes selected to get team averages.
Practice Detail
A breakdown of load in practice compared to load activities in game. Practice activities are taken from the name of the practice period and intensity and volume metrics are compared to average game metrics to analyze the "game like" nature of different practice sessions.
