Dr. Maloney received her Ph.D. in Pharmacology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Her post-doctoral fellowship was in the Department of Biochemistry and Biophysics at the University of Pennsylvania. For the last several years she was a faculty member in Pharmacology at the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Maloney's research focused on ischemia reperfusion injury in the heart. She is currently teaching Histology and Anatomy and Physiology at Marquette.
In 2017, Dr. Maloney and colleagues were named the recipients of the Way Klingler Teaching Enhancement Award for their project entitled “A Community of Practice to Infuse High Impact Practices Across the Curriculum.”
