College of Health Sciences Continuing Education - Keeping Secrets: Confidentiality, Disclosure and the Duty to Report
8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
How far will you go to protect yourself, your colleagues, your patients? Is confession really good for the soul? This four-hour course will explore the difficult issues that arise when you become aware of indiscretions of others, and your professional responsibilities and integrity come into conflict with your loyalties. Living Ignatian: Finding God in our Relationships
1 p.m. - 3 p.m.
AMU, Chapel of the Holy Family
Rev. Douglas Leonhardt, S.J., associate vice president for mission and ministry, will guide alumni and friends on a journey to explore the presence and influence of God in our lives and the relationships that shape them. The afternoon will include time for quiet personal reflections and prayer, as well as shared conversation.

The St. John's Bible

Not since the advent of the printing press in the 15th century has a handwritten, illuminated bible been commissioned on this scale. This heritage edition of the St. John's Bible includes 160 illuminations reflecting a contemporary approach to biblical interpretation, which Dr. Deirdre Dempsey, associate professor in the Department of Theology, will discuss.
