The Marquette University Office of Risk Management coordinates a university-sponsored Student Injury and Sickness Insurance Plan, underwritten by UnitedHealthcare, and administered by UnitedHealthcare StudentResources. All Marquette University students carrying six credit hours or more are eligible to purchase this Plan.
We recommend that you check with your family’s health insurance carrier to see what benefits are available to you in the Milwaukee metropolitan area. If your coverage is limited, your plan has a high deductible and coinsurance, or you will be without health insurance while a Marquette student, you may want to consider purchasing the Student Injury and Sickness Insurance Plan.
For a full description of coverage (including eligibility, costs, benefits, exclusions, any reductions and limitations, and the terms under which the coverage may remain in force), please refer to the 2009-10 Policy Brochure, below; or, visit UnitedHealthcare's StudentResources web site at www.uhcsr.com and select "Find My School's Plan."
To enroll in the Student Injury and Sickness Insurance Plan, complete and return the 2009-10 Enrollment Form (or the 2009-10 Continuation Form, if you were enrolled in Marquette's plan during the 2008-09 school year), located below. You can also enroll online by signing on to the carrier’s website and selecting "Enroll online now."
