Discrimination on the Basis of Sex
Sex discrimination involves treating someone unfavorably because of that person's sex or gender. It is conduct that denies or limits an individual’s ability to benefit from or fully participate in educational programs or activities or employment opportunities because of an individual’s sex or gender (including sexual orientation and gender identity).
Any harassment based on sex, gender or sexual orientation or identity, sexual misconduct (including sexual assault), domestic violence, dating violence and stalking are all forms of sex discrimination.
Marquette University is committed to providing an educational environment that is free of discrimination of any kind.
