Residence Hall Issues

Not happy with the way your hall or apartment looks? Not pleased with how your food tastes? These are all issues that students question. So the question now becomes how you can get your voice heard. Here are some options. . .

  • Get involved in your Residence Council. This is a great opportunity to speak with leaders in your hall or apartment who can work on plans to have your issues addressed.
  • Ask your Residence Council President about the Hall Improvements Advisory Board. Each hall has a member serving on this committee who meets monthly to discuss needed improvements in the halls.
  • Ask your Residence Council President about the Dining Advisory Board. Representatives from each hall meet monthly with Residence Life and Sodexho to discuss food issues in the hall.
  • Contact your RHA President at 8-5851 or Marqrha@marquette.edu.

Your next question may be, are students concerns really addressed. The answer is yes!

  • Students have worked on the Grab and Go system and have been vital in providing feedback to Sodexho on its success.
  • New washers and dryers, new DVD/VCR players, and new pool tables were placed in the halls.
  • Because of students' concerns about the diversity on our campus, more diversity programs were established.

You can initiate change!!! GET LOUD! Make your concerns known!
