Schedule of Classes Change Request Form
Schedule builders must use this form to request changes to sections after the SOC building deadline.
Additionally, until the third week of the term, this form can be used to request a classroom for review sessions and for final exam week if the instructor of the class wishes to offer the exam in a different classroom than the one in which the class itself is typically held. As of the third week of the term, such requests must be made with the AMU Event Management Office.
Assigned classes for academic courses will only be changed to accommodate:
- ADA student or faculty issues
- Class enrollment that exceeds room capacity
Please note: Instructor additions or modifications are not to be requested via this form. All instructor additions or modifications must be made via the Schedule of Classes Instructor Change form.

Add a new course/section
Modify an existing course/section. Please note that if you modify the meeting days or times of an existing section, a new section number may be assigned.
Cancel an existing course/section. Please note that if you are making this request for a fall or spring term course/section before the start of advising for that term, the course/section will be deleted, rather than cancelled. If you are making this request for a summer term course/section before the start of registration for that term, the course/section will be deleted, rather than cancelled.
