After the move:
- The faculty and staff services portion of the Office of the Registrar will relocate to the second floor of Zilber Hall.
- The student services portion of the Office of the Registrar will relocate to a centralized location along with the Bursar and Financial Aid on the first floor of Zilber Hall.
- This new service unit will be called Marquette Central and will be open by Thanksgiving week.
- Marquette Central is introducing the Marquette Central Access Number (MCAN):
- To comply with the new Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) regulations, students must verify their identity when calling or visiting Marquette Central.
- Students calling for information need to use their MUID number and the MCAN.
- MCAN is now available in your CheckMarq account.
- Parents or others who wish to talk with Marquette Central by phone regarding student financial and enrollment information, must now provide the MCAN and student MUID numbers to verify their right to access the student’s information.
- This information includes tuition, fees, financial aid and academic records, with the exception of the schedule of classes or any activity related to grades.
- Visit your Student Center in CheckMarq now to view/obtain your MCAN!

Undergraduates, prepare for your advising session by using Academic Advisement! For more information, click here.
Graduates must pick up their diploma in person at the Office of the Registrar or have the diploma mailed to them. Graduates who have earned a degree awarded jointly with the Medical College of Wisconsin must arrange to have their diploma mailed to them. The Medical College of Wisconsin diplomas will be mailed once they have been signed by the Board of Trustees of the Medical College of Wisconsin. We have no timeline for this signature; however, the diploma will be mailed to you as soon as possible.
To have your diploma mailed, you must submit the Request for Delivery of Diploma/Certificate by Mail to the Office of the Registrar.
Classroom reservation requests are now being taken by AMU Event Management, rather than the Office of the Registrar. Click here for details.
Students should be aware of their rights under the Federal Educational Rights and Privacy Act, also known as FERPA. Students and parents can download a brochure on FERPA (PDF) or learn more here.
