The Department of Public Safety maintains a daily log that records, by the date the incident was reported, all crimes and other serious incidents occurring on campus, within non-campus buildings or properties, on public property or within the department's patrol boundaries. The daily log is available for public inspection at the department's headquarters, located at 749 N. 16th St.

The daily log includes the nature, date, time and general location of each crime reported to the department, as well as the disposition of the complaint, if the information is known at the time of publication. The department posts incidents in the Campus Crime Log within two business days of receiving a report and reserves the right to exclude reports under certain circumstances. The below listed incidents have been forwarded to the Milwaukee Police Department.

#15-0435         Disorderly Conduct; Occurred Thu., 4/16/15 between 11:25 a.m. and 11:28 a.m.  Reported Thu., 4/16/15 at 11:28 a.m.  Two people not affiliated with Marquette acted in a disorderly manner in the 500 block of N. 20th Street.  MPD contacted.

#15-0432         Theft; Occurred between Sun., 4/12/15 at 5:00 p.m. and Wed., 4/15/15 at 10:00 a.m.  Reported Wed., 4/15/15 at 11:34 a.m.  A student reported that unknown person(s) removed four license plate bolts from her parked, unattended vehicle in Structure One.  Est. loss is $12.

#15-0433         Theft; Occurred between Tue., 6/24/14 at 7:30 p.m. and Wed., 4/15/15 at 9:00 a.m.  Reported Wed., 4/15/15 at 11:52 a.m.  An employee reported that unknown person(s) removed his secured, unattended property est. at $1,100 in Coughlin Hall.  MPD contacted.

#15-0428         Battery; Occurred Tue., 4/14/15 at 4:15 a.m.  Reported Tue., 4/14/15 at 9:32 a.m.  A student battered another student in O’Donnell Hall causing minor injuries to the student.  MPD will be notified.

#15-0429         Disorderly Conduct; Occurred Sat., 4/11/15 between 12:00 a.m. and 12:05 a.m.  Reported Tue., 4/14/15 at 2:25 p.m.  A student acted in a disorderly manner toward another student in O’Donnell Hall.

OFF CAMPUS

#15-0426         Battery; Occurred Tue., 4/14/15 at 8:07 a.m.  Reported Tue., 4/14/15 at 832 a.m.  A person not affiliated with Marquette reported being struck by an unknown subject in the 800 block of W. Wisconsin Avenue.  MPD contacted.

#15-0427         Robbery; Occurred Tue. 4/14/15 at 11:45 a.m.  Reported Tue., 4/14/15 at 11:52 a.m.  A student walking in the 2300 block of W. Wisconsin Avenue was approached by two unknown subjects.  One of the subjects displayed a weapon and removed property from the student.  The subjects dropped the student’s property while fleeing the scene and the student recovered his property.  MPD contacted.  The student was not injured.

#15-0404         Criminal Trespass; Occurred and reported Fri., 4/10/15 at 11:26 a.m.  A person not affiliated with Marquette trespassed in the lobby of Campus Town West and was taken into custody by MPD.

#15-0417         Vandalism; Occurred and reported Sun., 4/12/15 at 2:14 a.m.  Unknown person(s) caused an est. $400 in damage to a window in Schroeder Hall.  Facilities Services contacted.

#15-0422         Sexual Assault; Occurred Sun., 4/12/15 at 2:00 a.m.  Reported Sun., 4/12/15 at 9:45 p.m.  A student reported that another student was sexually assaulted by a student in Campus Town West.  MPD contacted.

OFF CAMPUS

#15-0405         Burglary; Occurred Fri., 4/10/15 between 12:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.  Reported Fri., 4/10/15 at 11:09 a.m.  A student reported that unknown person(s) removed property est. at $1,705 from his unsecured residence in the 1400 block of W. State Street.  MPD contacted.

#15-0406         Theft From Motor Vehicle;Occurred Fri., 4/10/15 between 1:00 p.m. and 1:30 p.m.  Reported Fri., 4/10/15 at 1:45 p.m.  A student reported observing two unidentified subjects remove his property est. at $230 from another student’s secured, unattended vehicle in the 500 block of N. 17th Street and flee the scene.  Est. damage to the vehicle is $200.  MPD contacted.

#15-0410         Theft; Occurred Fri., 4/10/15 between 6:52 p.m. and 6:59 p.m.  Reported Fri., 4/10/15 at 6:59 p.m.  A person not affiliated with Marquette reported that an unidentified subject removed property from a business in the 1600 block of W. Wisconsin Avenue.  MPD contacted.

#15-0414         Theft From Person; Occurred and reported Sat., 4/11/15 at 3:13 a.m.  A student reported that a person not affiliated with Marquette removed the student’s credit card from a credit card scanner at a business in the 1500 block of W. State and fled the scene.  MPD will be notified.

#15-0415         Drug Offenses; Occurred Sat., 4/11/15 between 2:20 a.m. and 2:25 a.m.  Reported Sat., 4/11/15 at 2:25 a.m.  A student was in possession of drug paraphernalia in a residence in the 1300 block of W. Kilbourn Avenue and was cited by MPD.

#15-0421         Burglary; Occurred Sun., 4/12/15 between 2:00 a.m. and 6:30 a.m.  Reported Sun., 4/12/15 at 10:12 a.m.  A student reported that an unknown subject removed the student’s property est. at $1,700 from the student’s unsecured residence in the 900 block of N. 17th Street.  MPD contacted.
