Continuing undergraduate, graduate, and professional students

If you were enrolled for the spring 2009 term, you do not need to complete the Request for Eligibility to Register. As a continuing student, your eligibility to register has already been established. You will be able to register for summer classes in CheckMarq after March 2, 2009. (Note that an appointment time is not needed to register for summer courses.)

New and visiting undergraduate students

New and new visiting undergraduates must complete and submit a Request for Eligibility to Register form PDF to the Office of the Registrar. New summer students who wish to continue at Marquette in the upcoming fall term must, in addition, file a separate Undergraduate Admission Application.

If you were enrolled in classes in a previous summer term, complete and submit the

Request for Readmission form to the Office of the Registrar.

High School students who have finished their Junior year at an accredited secondary school and have a 3.00 (on a 4.00 scale) cumulative grade point average or better must submit a letter of recommendation from your high school counselor and an official copy of your transcripts and your Request for Eligibility to RegisterPDF to the Office of the Registrar.

What's next?

Your Request for Eligibility to Register will be processed shortly after it is received. Please note that it may take several days before your Marquette University Identification (MUID) number (as needed), CheckMarq username and password reaches you by mail at your home address. We suggest and encourage you to complete your form well before the session start date.

Former/returning undergraduate students

Former / Returning MU or visiting undergraduate students (not enrolled in spring 2009 term) must complete the Request for Readmission PDF.

New, visiting, and former/returning graduate and Graduate School of Management students (all students not enrolled in the Spring 2009 term)

All students seeking enrollment in graduate-level courses or upper-division undergraduate courses for graduate credit must be admitted to the Graduate School or the Graduate School of Management on a degree, non-degree or temporary status.

Graduate students must contact the Graduate School at (414) 288-7137.

Graduate School of Management students must contact the GSM at (414) 288-7145.

New and visiting professional students

Dentistry students: contact the School of Dentistry (414) 288-6506.

Law students: contact the Law School (414) 288-6767.

Former/returning professional students
