Igniting Hope: Miracle on Westowne Square
Monday, December 2, 2013

Igniting Hope is the Residence Hall Association’s (RHA) annual tree lighting ceremony. Each year, hundreds of Marquette students, staff, and faculty gather to celebrate the start of the Advent season and to prepare for Christmas season.

Please join the Marquette community this year at 4:30pm in Westowne Square to witness the blessing and lighting of our Christmas tree and enjoy carols sung by the Liturgical Choir. After the ceremony, continue the celebration in the Alumni Memorial Union Ballrooms for a reception with food, beverages, and musical performances by The Naturals.  This RHA celebration is a magnificent way to begin the Advent season and is a tradition you will not want to miss!

Additionally, in the spirit of giving, RHA will collect toys to donate to Toys for Tots foundation servicing the Greater Milwaukee Area. Please donate a toy to brighten the holiday season for a child who might otherwise go without. Collection begins on Monday November 18th and extends through Monday December 2nd in the lobby areas of all Residence Halls and University Apartments.

Come celebrate the start of the Advent season with RHA!
