Media Relations
There are always a lot of good things going on at Marquette, and we want the world to know. Our staff of media specialists generate interest in these stories through news
releases, media advisories and personal contacts.
We also work closely with the media, filling their requests for information about Marquette. We continually link them to information
about the university's activities and programs, as well as the faculty, students and
alumni who are making it all happen.
Our team positions Marquette faculty and staff as experts for
print and broadcast media. Our annual experts directory
lists more than 300 Marquette faculty and staff.
On a daily basis, we track the more than 4,000 print and broadcast stories
that are published or broadcast about Marquette each year.
When news breaks and the media contacts us, members of our team also act as university spokesperson(s).
