Ellen Neiers

My name is Ellen Neiers and I’m from Houston, Texas. I was born in Lafayette, Louisiana originally and moved a couple times in Louisiana and Texas until I finally ended up in Houston. I came to Milwaukee to attend Marquette University, and have been here for almost two years now. And to others’ dismay, I do in fact love the snow and the cold despite being a southern girl.

I have been interning at OMC for a little over a semester now and I have learned how to do Marquette Today, In the News, News Briefs, and Twitter throughout my internship so far. I hope to further my knowledge of new writing styles and other communication forms as I continue work here at OMC.
