Pre-admission intensive session for new freshmen
An intensive, on-campus, four-day summer session to begin socialization and readiness for college; it focuses on note-taking, study skills, test-taking strategies, giving presentations, professional writing, using university resources, applying for scholarships and accessing faculty assistance
Support and structured programming
The Project BEYOND-2 team offers individual advising and academic support by professional RN Mentor/Advisor Specialists. Each student is assigned a Mentor/Advisor Specialist who will meet with them individually throughout their academic career. We also offer structured and non-structured sessions and presentations from faculty, students, university leaders, support services, and other community leaders. The purpose of the sessions are to build community and develop leadership skills.

- Free tutoring from the Academic Resource Center
- Individual and group tutoring offered from the Project BEYOND-2 Nurse Tutor Specialist
Nurse mentor program
