Highest Degree/School

PhD University of Illinois, Chicago

Brief Statement of Scholarly Interests

My research focus is nursing interventions for patient and family carers managing chronic illness in home health care (i.e., heart failure), and outcomes for both.

Additional Descriptors

Based on qualitative research with home health care patients and family members, I developed and evaluated an instrument to measure a shared interaction between a patient and their informal caregiver. I am involved in a research study focused on using technology to enhance nursing care and improve outcomes for chronically in adults and informal caregivers in home health care.
