The Marquette Clinic for Women & Children

MCWC is a caring, nurturing central-city clinic for some of Milwaukee's most vulnerable.  The clinic is a clear example of living Marquette's mission  "Be the Difference."  It provides:

allsmiles

          • annual physical examinations
          • treatment of chronic and episodic illnesses
          • health education
          • health promotion
          • strategies to reduce health risks
          • an opportunity for students to have hands-on experience

Why does the MCWC do what it does?  MUCN has the capacity and commitment to address a critical community problem.  43 Million Americans do not have access to a primary care provider. The majority are underinsured and uninsured, low-income, and female who lack reliable health care.  These are the people the MCWC exists to serve.  Faculty, along with students in the graduate and undergraduate programs, and clinic staff provide the services.
