Brief Statement of Scholarly Interests
My entire career has been focused on caring for complex medically fragile children both in the pediatric intensive care unit as a staff nurse and then as a pediatric nurse practitioner (PNP) and more recently with the Special Needs Program at Children’s Hospital of WI. My research interests include the prevention of serious skin injuries and the social determinants of health and the impact they have on medically fragile children.
