Office of Undergraduate Programs
The Office of Undergraduate Programs in the College of Nursing provides support and assistance to undergraduate students in a variety of areas. These include enrollment, records and registration, academic and administrative requirements, courses and clinical placement information, advising, issues related to graduation and more.

The Marquette University tradition of cura personalis, or care for the whole person, guides the approach to student service at the College of Nursing. The staff and the associate dean of the undergraduate program are available to listen and help students resolve problems. The goal of the Office of Undergraduate Programs is to provide a distinctive educational experience for the MU College of Nursing students.

The Office of Undergraduate Programs is located in Emory Clark Hall, Room 251. Please feel free to contact us should you have any questions.

The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Women and men who enroll in the bachelor of science in nursing program at Marquette take a four-year, generic pre-licensure sequence of courses. Generic pre-licensure means that students join the nursing program directly out of high school. Students begin introductory nursing course work in the freshman year and are guaranteed space in the program, including clinicals through graduation, provided that academic performance is satisfactory. Unfortunately, transfer applications from students attending other colleges or universities are no longer considered to our College of Nursing as our traditional BSN class is at enrollment capacity. Registered nurses already holding an Associates Degree in Nursing can pursue transfer admission to our RN to BSN degree completion program.

The following BSN programs are available. Click on each to download a PDF of the curriculum.
