What is the United Way?

United Way focuses on the community’s most serious problems through strategic investments in Education, Income and Health. In partnership with more than 160 programs at 80 local agencies, United Way helps hundreds of thousands of people in our community each year.

The reach extends beyond Milwaukee County and its central-city neighborhoods into suburban and rural areas throughout Ozaukee, Washington and Waukesha Counties. Investing only in programs that produce measurable results, United Way operates at a high rate of efficiency with 90 cents of every dollar invested into community problem solving. This year, people in our community will rely on United Way for help. Your donation will ensure that help is there.

Faculty and staff are also invited to volunteer with the United Way.

Giving to Marquette

Scholarship aid continues to be one of Marquette University’s highest priorities. You can help make our scholarship offerings more competitive, ensuring promising students have the opportunity to choose Marquette, and to make sure current students who have unmet need are able to stay enrolled.

You may direct your gift to the general Scholars Fund, or choose to support scholarships specific to a particular college. You may also support student-athlete scholarships through the Blue & Gold Fund, or scholarships for current students who experience a personal change in financial circumstance through the Bridge to the Future Fund.

In addition to scholarship aid, benefactors can support other Marquette priorities found on the giving form, or write in the fund(s) of their choosing.
