The Madonna della Strada Chapel is a small, quiet space for prayer,
meditation and liturgies. All university community members are
welcome to make prayerful use of the chapel, which features four
stained glass images drawn from illuminations in the St. John’s Bible.
The St. John’s Bible is the only 20th-century handwritten and
illuminated version of the entire Old and New Testaments.
Marquette’s own Heritage Edition is available for viewing in the
Raynor Memorial Libraries.
The chapel is open from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. weekdays and
available after hours with card access. Please contact the Office of
Mission and Ministry with questions about the chapel or to reserve
the space for liturgy.
