Time to begin

Just like every other summer, this one went fast. High school was great, but I know it is time for me to move on. As summer wound down my friends and I met for one last time. I will miss them, but I am ready to experience a great education and good time at Marquette. I want to study psychology. The mind and how it works interests me, and I also want to help others. After scheduling my classes, I realized that I am going to be at the library often. I have 17 credits fall semester and feel overwhelmed already.

New friends include roommate

I am really excited to make new friends. One of my best friends is also attending Marquette, so that is helping me to make the transition. I live in O’Donnell Hall. I have never lived in a dorm for a long period of time, and it will take a lot of adjustments. I talked to my roommate before we came to campus. We worked out who should bring the important items, such as the TV, video games, refrigerator and others.
