First retreat is great

I am excited to be here and be a part of this amazing community. I decided on Marquette because of the Jesuit, Catholic education, the importance of service, the intensity of Division I basketball, and the thrill of the city life. I decided to attend the Christian Leadership Retreat before the semester really began. It was a great opportunity for me to meet a close-knit group of freshmen and start the year off on the right path.

Plans to do it all

Preparing for freshman year was a little confusing, but I knew a couple people who went to Marquette and were in my place a year ago. They helped me out so much along the way with advice on what to bring for my room, which residence hall to choose, what to get involved in, whether to go on the retreat, attend Preview, and much more. I couldn’t be any more excited.
