Ask a Librarian (IM, Chat, E-Mail)

There are many ways to contact a librarian for help …

Citation Management Software

The Marquette Libraries offer two bibliographic management software services (aka citation software services), RefWorks and EndnoteWeb. They are actually far more than mere citation generators: use them to organize and annotate references to materials you use for your research.

Here are lots of necessary details about using the libraries … from check-out periods to fines, services, research help, and lots more.

Items Not At MU Libraries

There are several ways to get things that the Marquette Libraries do not already have. Here is more information about other local libraries, reciprocal borrowing agreements, and of course our Interlibrary Loan service.

Off Campus Access

Find out about the two ways to use library resources from off-campus: with the VPN software, or by authenticating via the Library's proxy server.

Quick Information Sources

These online reference databases (encyclopedias, dictionaries …) can help you with quick facts, background and more.

Request Forms

There are many things that can be done, or at least started, using an online form …

Research Guides by Subject

These subject-specific Research Guides are designed to help students and faculty with their library research. They are mostly subject-specific, but there are also a few about different types of resources.
