Exhibit Fetes St. Teresa

August 2016Exhibit Honors Canonization of St. Teresa of Calcutta
A current exhibit in the Libraries spotlights the inspiring memory of Mother Teresa, now honored with the title of St. Teresa of Calcutta upon her canonization September 4, 2016. St. Teresa came to Marquette in 1981 to receive the university’s highest honor, the Père Marquette Discovery Award, before a crowd of more than 10,000 people. The exhibit presents some of the most moving photos of her visit here, drawn from Marquette’s University Archives.

The exhibit, located on the third floor of Raynor Library, is free and open to the Marquette community. It will be on display through the end of 2016. For more information, contact University Archivist Michelle Sweetser.
