Welcome to the Library's gateway to the wider world of electronic information.   The John P. Raynor, S.J., Library, opened in 2003, deploys the latest technology and is organized around user services.  A knowledgeable, multidisciplinary team is prepared to assist users in locating, evaluating, manipulating, and presenting information in any format--from manuscripts to digital texts, from archival documents to remote resources.  The Raynor Memorial complex is a tangible manifestation of our vision of providing Marquette students and faculty with the information they need

. . .when they need it,
. . .where they need it,
. . .in the format they need it,
. . .at a reasonable cost to the University.

The Library's Web site is a starting point for access both to locally-held and world-wide information.   In some respects, ours is a work in progress, so we invite you to browse among our resources and to make suggestions for improvement.  The primary starting point for help is the Information Desk and AskUs! services including phone (414-288-7556), in-person, e-mail, 24/7 online messaging (chat), and research consultations by appointment. Frequently asked questions (FAQs) are available online, as is an online suggestion box.

If you're visiting us from beyond the Marquette network, you will not be able to access all our resources because of licensing agreements with our vendors.  If you're in our libraries and encounter a problem, please ask for assistance.
