New electronic subscriptions and digital texts are
reviewed regularly at the request of faculty and subject librarians. The latest list of
additions and enhancements since January 2008 includes subjects as varied as philosophy,
Congress, dentistry, and classics. Two additions include significant historical newspapers of
17th and 18th century England and America's Historical Newspapers,
which allows users to search hundreds of 18th and 19th century newspapers from across the

Raynor Memorial Libraries' Funding Information Center has published its 2008
Foundations in Wisconsin: A Directory. This new edition, available in print and
electronic formats, provides details on an all-time high 1,275 foundations, responsible for
almost $479 million in grants. All members of the Marquette community are given free access to the
