Beyond its popularity,
the Facebook phenomenon raises important questions about several complex communication issues. One
of these issues is the question of privacy management. This presentation examines the
communication processes involved in how student users manage and protect their privacy on Facebook.
The study’s significance lies in its ability to understand the ways in which college students seek
to simultaneously present and protect themselves online. |
