Scope and Content:  The collection contains items from a scrapbook assembled by Darwin M. Huxley during his undergraduate years at Marquette University, ca. 1936 through ca. 1944. It includes photographs documenting his participation in the band, correspondence, various newspaper clippings, and ephemera relating to Marquette University.

Arrangement:  The items were originally contained in a scrapbook which had deteriorated. The pages had fallen out of order, and the items were beginning to come unglued. To preserve the collection, the items were removed from each page and the original binding was discarded. Newspaper clippings were photocopied onto acid-free paper and the originals discarded. Items were arranged by type or by subject.
